Troy Nelson, Co-Owner
Troy has worked in the construction industry for 28 years. He started at a young age in a family owned plumbing business, and quickly realized he enjoyed the building trade much more. He began then in the residential construction field as a home builder which quickly led from many single family homes, to building and supervising entire subdivisions and large multifamily projects. This led naturally into commercial constructions, with projects from retail spaces, restaurants and large manufacturing facilities. Troy takes great pride in his work to ensure our customers receive the best product the industry can deliver, with many repeat customers to date. Our focus is to complete projects on time or ahead of schedule, per plan to once again ensure 100% satisfaction to our clients.
Brett Steel, Co-Owner
Brett has been working in the construction industry for over 18 years. He began his career working for a local construction company while also studying as an apprentice in the construction/carpentry program here in Madison, WI to become a journeyman carpenter. A short time later he became a project superintendent successfully running commercial projects throughout the Midwest. Projects such as Noodles & Co., Flat Top Grill, Topper’s Pizza, Wing Stop & The North Face… just to name a few. Brett takes great pride in repeat customers and their referrals as it’s the best compliment any company can ever get. He thrives on turning over every job on time and per plan, always focusing on the client. He was born and raised in Madison, WI and currently resides there with his son, Logan.
Paul Lanz, Project Manager
Paul joined Lake Country Construction Group in July of 2016, assuming the role as Project Manager, beyond his duties as a project manager for LCCG Paul assist’s with marketing and new business development. His past industry experience includes construction safety and operations as well as project management, he brings over 18 years of diverse construction experience to the team.
